Blackout..!!most people certainly angry..temper..preassure..flared..Who should blammed? Sometimes, some people want to sue SESB, complaining and stage demonstrations especially for the factory and busineesman. As two my friend work at SESB as engineer (one of them is my X-bf..hehe), they got full of tension, must be efficient by the time to handle the difficult situation besides attending call from tempers consumer. Actually, the state government is aware and concerned by the effect of frequent blackouts. Many plan for short term and long term. To supply more gensets especially in east cost Sabah and built the new power station to solve the problem. The plan to built a coal-fired power in east cost are rejected outright by certain NGO eventhough many explanation from SESB for long term planning and convinced that would not harm the environment. Hello..everybody..i would like to share with you about the journal publication. For two years doing your research, with a lot of challenges..what should u get after you finish your research except Master certificate..who read your thesis?..who knowing your findings?..limited to four or five person rite..?your main supervisor, your co-supervisor, your external examiner and internal examiner. Think about this..!! So, publish your paper..!!challenge yourself to do it..!! Rite now, I have submitted my paper to two international journal..but,my paper was rejected..I got this note for twice..!!huh.. Thank you for your interest in ______ Research and sorry for the outc ome was not positive on this occasion. Why rejection?? One of the comment is manuscripts in which new pharmacological results of plant extracts are reported must contain a discussion of the suggested . There are 14 other comments from the reviewers. Sad!!!But,the comment is very useful for my future work.. Find out ...

From the expedition, we got two species of Zingiberaceae for the further analysis. Currently, this is the process of our work: 1)Sample collection 2)Sample Extraction 3)Phytochemicals Screening 4)Antioxidant analysis 5)Writing Scientific Paper 6)Oral Presentation Last stage, oral presentation about our findings during the expedition. The paper probably submitted to committee at 1st November 2009.

Our expedition today is going up to the hill (Muaya Waterfall Peak) to collect sample. We prepared ourselves to started the journey. Here is important things needed to bring: 1) Water 2)Pack lunch 3)Plastic (to collect sample) 4) Parang 5) Rubber shoes Our group have a four person who doing research in gingers, orchids and medicinal plants and escorted by two forest rangers and two portar. Our journey taken about 4 hours from Muaya homestay and arrived at Muaya Waterfall Peak about 11.30am by passed the Mendulong hut.

Muaya Scientific Expedition was held on 3rdAugust2009-9thAugust2009. The expedition was jointly organized by Institute for Tropical Biology and Conservation (ITBC) and Sabah Forest Industry (SFI). Muaya conservation centre was under SFI management whereas they encourage of many researcher with different field of research to do work in this area. Our trip was arrived at the homestay Muaya at 3.30pm by three 4wheelDrive with about one hour from the main road. We are so exited to saw the unique recreation centre with nice view, cool air, bird voice and etc..On the first day, Ling, Wong and me took an opportunity to go Muaya waterfall through 1438m trail. Along the trail, we passed by four huts such as Long Pa'sia, Maligan, Bamban and Muaya. At late 6pm after taken the photograph, we go down to the homestay. At nite, we have a short briefing by Madam Anjelica ,who manage us along the journey. She requested help from SFI forest rangers as our guide along the expedition.
